Tanley asked for a minute long song they could play in place of the Live Reads during replays. I don’t know why they can’t play the Reads a second time…but anyway he asked for a “jingle”…and I started out jingley. With air in my head and dimes in my pockets and candy apple lines. But then I found this semi-white stripesey piano line and I went with it. It’s not quite right, a little too revolutionary – or anti-its-own-existence… but oh well.

You take a fragile little flower
I’m speaking yes of the live read
You take a fragile little flower
Treat it just like a weed
You see the genius of the power of the men
To turn this trash into art
To make worthwhile
What is absolutely not
(x2)
And I for one won’t stand it
I for one believe
So I lay my body down
At least the tracks of this song
So I lay my body down
At least the tracks of this song
And lastly, did you know…I need a job?
this is pretty cool!
